![]() ![]() God is patient with us as we “stumble” around trying to do things in our strength and try to take matters into our own hands. God’s timing is not the same as our own, and it’s important to remember that we should trust in His timing instead of forcing things to happen according to our plans. Ask God for His perspective and for His peace to rule in your heart. Start trusting God with your dreams, decisions, and desires. We can trust that God’s timing is always for our own good and that He is working everything out for our benefit. Romans 8:28 tells us, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” God’s timing is always for our own good and benefit, even when it may not seem that way at the time. he wants our trust in Him, that He would be enough for us, not just when we get the result we want, but in the process. He wants to give you the desires of your heart, but most of all God wants us. We can trust that God’s timing has a purpose and that He has good intentions for us. Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” God’s timing has a purpose for our lives, as it helps us to understand His plan for us and to trust in Him. When we trust God’s perfect timing we can let God be God and rest assured knowing that whatever tomorrow will bring and regardless of the tests and trials, we can maintain peace in every circumstance. ![]() Philippians 4 talks about letting our requests be made known to God so that the peace of God which passes our understanding may be made known to us. So often our stress and fear are self-inflicted and God wants to take that burden from us. ![]() Isaiah 26:3 states, “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.” We can trust that God’s timing is peaceful and that it brings us closer to Him. God’s timing brings peace to our lives, as it helps us to understand His plan for us and to trust in Him. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:8-9 says, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. The Bible reminds us that God’s ways are higher than our ways and that He knows the plans He has for us. We must remain anchored in the truth that God is good, God knows best, and God isn’t ‘punishing’ us. Perhaps it was an unfavorable diagnosis or delay in conceiving a child. Sometimes things feel so unfair, or unjust. It can be hard to trust in God’s timing when we don’t understand why things are happening the way they are. Waiting on God and trusting in His timing is a key aspect of a deeper relationship with God. Learning to trust God is a daily walk in our relationship with Him. God has a perfect perspective, and despite often thinking that we do, we most certainly do not. God’s ways are greater than our ways, and He lives outside of time whereas we are within the limitations and bounds of time. Psalm 27:14 says, “Wait for the Lord be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.” Trusting in God’s timing is crucial for our spiritual growth and understanding of His plan for our lives.
